On 10, 11 and 12 March 2026, Valorial attended the CFIA Rennes to represent the European project Biotech4Food, as part of the ‘Agro Factory of the Future’ exhibition area, which it co-organised alongside Valorial’s partners.
A true showcase for agri-food innovation, this space was organised around four complementary hubs: a FoodTech Village bringing together start-ups and innovative companies, a showroom dedicated to demonstrators, an advisory and funding area (with Valorial in attendance), and a Europe & International area. It was in this area that several major initiatives were highlighted, including Biotech4Food, alongside Hub4Food, EDIH Bretagne and the EEN network.
Over the course of these three days, the Valorial team was able to meet exhibitors and visitors, discuss the challenges of biotechnological innovation and present the ambitions of the Biotech4Food project. To capture attention and facilitate discussions, various communication materials were available at the stand, including an interactive quiz running continuously, which raised awareness of the project’s themes in a playful way. Although the CFIA is not specifically dedicated to biotechs, this show has been a powerful lever for giving Biotech4Food visibility, connecting the key players in the sector and making our project part of a dynamic of collaborative innovation on a European scale.
